The Mid Century Modern Floating Vanity and Wall Panel

Custom built in cabinetry that transforms the entire room

When standard bathroom cabinetry cannot deliver the warmth, character, or architectural presence you want, a custom design can make the room feel completely different.

This floating vanity was designed as part of the architecture rather than simply placed against the wall. Its solid walnut construction, sculpted vertical detailing, and concealed hardware create a clean midcentury modern appearance while providing practical storage for everyday life.

One coordinated architectural composition

The floating vanity is paired with a matching floor to ceiling walnut wall panel and integrated shelf. The panel draws the eye upward, gives the room a greater sense of height, and creates a warm architectural feature rarely found in a bathroom.

Together, the vanity and wall panel turn necessary bathroom storage into an original design element created specifically for the room.

Details designed around daily use

BLUM TIP ON BLUMOTION concealed drawer slides preserve the uninterrupted cabinetry design while providing smooth, controlled drawer operation.

A bathroom compatible UV cured crosslinked polymer finish protects the wood from moisture and daily use while maintaining the natural color, grain, and tactile character of the walnut.

Low voltage dimmable LED lighting is integrated beneath the floating vanity, behind the wall panel, and within the display shelf. The warm 3000K light creates a soft floor wash and architectural halo without exposing the lighting source. It also highlights the craftsmanship and adds a comfortable layer of light to the room.

Made for your space

Every project is designed around the proportions, storage needs, materials, and architectural character of your home. The design can be created in walnut, white oak, cherry, or mahogany, with dimensions and details developed specifically for your room.

Investment Guide

Projects of this type typically range from $3,500 to $10,000, depending on the size, material selection, storage requirements, lighting, wall panel details, installation conditions, and overall scope.
